Dear Friends,

Membership Month is finally here! From now through April 30, anyone who joins the Friends of the Library OR renews their Friends membership will receive a special membership reward at their donation level to be distributed beginning in May.

Friends play a vital role in helping our library thrive. Membership fees raise funds to help support Central Rappahannock Regional Library in so many ways, including:

Our members are also strong advocates for the library, supporting lifelong learning for everyone in our community, as well as the freedom to read.

As a member, you are also eligible for special benefits, such as the upcoming Friends-only preview evening to kick off our Membership Month Book Sale! Make your way to the Friends of the Library Center and Bookshop on Friday, April 4, 5:00-9:00, and shop never-before-seen items before the sale opens to the public Saturday, April 5. Bookshop staff have been holding back the best donations for the past several months and will close the facility April 1-3 and on April 4 until 5:00 to get ready for the sale before reopening just for Friends. Memberships can also be purchased or renewed at the door, so bring a friend who isn't a Friend yet and they can shop with you!

You can also pay by Venmo to @CRRLFriends -- In the memo line, include your email address and indicate if you wish to receive membership rewards. If you do, include your preferred branch for pick-up.

The book sale will be open to the public April 5 and April 7, 10:00-6:00, and April 8-9, 10:00-5:00 (1/2 price in the bookshop, $3/bag in the warehouse).
