Dear Friends,

I hope you had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. Because you know what is just around the corner - the most festive season of the year! Before the hectic holiday season officially begins, why not take a moment to reflect and do something good? This Tuesday, November 28 is Giving Tuesday. You can support the library and our community by donating on that day.

One of the ways the library supports our community is by bringing services, materials, and technology to customers who aren’t able to visit branches through Library on the Go.

The newest Library on the Go initiatives, the Youth Services and Westmoreland programming vans, are literally libraries on wheels. These vans offer technology access, classes, and curated collections of books and other materials, as well as other library services. Between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023, Library on the Go reached more than 7,000 community members!

Giving Tuesday, November 28, is a great time for Friends to help CRRL complete the van projects, ensuring they are outfitted with diverse materials, printers, activities for children, and other essential services. We can support the library by visiting crrlfriends.org/giving-tuesday and donating online or by check to bring essential library services to members of our community who need them.

Thank you for your support,

Candace Schmidt, Friends President
