I have a framed cross-stitched sampler that someone did for my mom many years ago. It says “The Hurrier I Go, the Behinder I Get.” I don’t know about you, but that about sums it up for me at this time of year. My “To Do” list is long, but the first thing on it is to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and send you a HUGE thank-you for your support this past year.

I am excited about seeing you at The Friday Before Thanksgiving Sale on November 18th. You will find a great selection of gift-worthy books and, unlike the grocery or department stores, our prices have not gone up! As a small thank-you, there will even be carts of FREE books. Friends Annual Meeting

Our annual meeting will be held Wednesday, December 7, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Branch Theater, 1201 Caroline Street, Fredericksburg, 22401. Refreshments will be served.

After a brief business meeting, we will welcome Mike Hill, author of Funny Business: The Legendary Life and Political Satire of Art Buchwald. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
